The parish of När will for the second year produce the Viking theme play ”Ormkvinnans barn” (The Snakewoman’s child), based on novels by author Dagmar Edqvist (”The Man from the Sea” and “The Man who came home”) in collaboration with The Gotland Province Theater (Gotlands Länsteater). The open air theater is located where the När Creek meets the Baltic Sea, at 2km distance from the farm.
Viking Fiesta at Gangvide
We invite private and corporate visitors to participate. We travel by boat on the När Creek all the way to the open air theater. After the show the boat brings us back – be warned of possible attacks by local Vikings – and a real Viking Fiesta with grilled food, competitions and entertainment follows. Maximum 60 participants.
